Over the last couple of day I watch myself - how often do I 'speak from an attitude'. Not sure where did I pickup this notion, must have read in some book or overheard on the radio. It's about communicating your one's attitude and expecting a change in the outer reality. It's like living in a castle. watching things from the watchtower and yelling down on peasants, friends and adversaries. Try to turn it upside down and see - from the 'peasants' attitude you are no more than a git stuck in a bell tower, yelling your head off.
Of course I'm exaggerating ;-)
But I find it useful to observe your 'speaking from an attitude', when you converse with the close ones, with a friend, a stranger, or when you are consulting with a client. Are they looking for someones attitude? Well... hard to tell. (S)He might ask for an opinion, or appreciate a reflection.
What is the option, if you want to avoid speaking from an attitude?
At the start of a new week! :-)
